About Us
We exist to support your learning in any way possible. If you have a learning need that you're not sure we cover, contact us and we'll see what we can do for you!
There are a few different sides to what we do. One of our sides is individual and small group tutoring. This is available for primary school ages through to adults and covers literacy and numeracy 'catch up' lessons, dyslexia intervention and general study support. We also offer homework help and tutoring for specific school subjects.

The other side of One Bite Learning is for those learning English. We have two teachers trained in TESOL (Teaching English as a second lagnague) who offer individual or group tutoring for those learning English. Starting soon, we will also have night time English classes! Check out our "Learn English" page to find out more.
What is it like coming to One Bite?
Firstly, we'll be nice. We promise! Have you ever had a teacher sign a contract with you promising to be patient and kind? That's weird, right?! Well, that's exactly what our tutors do on your first day at One Bite (be warned, you also have to promise some things!). We foster a culture of support and encouragement, while also holding high expectations of our students. We aim to see you achieving your best academically, as well as growing in confidence and developing an increasingly positive attitude toward study and learning. When you come to One Bite, you'll find yourself in a relaxed, friendly environment, with dynamic, hands-on lessons. You might even find yourself having fun while you learn!
The other side of our culture is that we take what we do very seriously. A relaxed, personalised tutoring style is no excuse for sloppy teaching! We are always aiming for optimal learning for our students. We use high quality resources, best practice methods, and dedicate time and effort to finding exactly what each of our students' need in order to learn best.
