If you’ve ever wanted to have a go at music or art but didn’t know where to start, our workshops could be just the thing for you. Or, if you have a creative bent and want to join in with some others who are learning new creative skills, you may have just found your holiday bliss!
Lessons available:
Guitar and singing - 1 hour lesson
Ages: 8 years to adult
$75 for the whole holidays or $18 per lesson
Jewellery making - 2 hour lesson

Meet the teachers
Grace (singing)
Grace is fun, enthusiastic, and just so good at what she does! She has performed at several events, including Easterfest and the annual Caboolture Christmas Carols. She has also performed for many more people via her YouTube channel, where she has had 2.2 million views!
Grace has had over 4 years’ vocal training, and has been teaching vocals and piano for 3 years. She loves singing – and she loves teaching others to love it!
Liam (Guitar)
Liam is a musical maestro! He has been playing the guitar for 8 years and teaching it for 3. He has completed a bachelor’s degree in music, and is currently studying a bachelor’s degree in education so that he can pursue his passion for teaching music.
Louisa (Jewellery making)
Louisa is a creative jewellery maker. She makes jewellery mostly for the sheer joy of creating, but she has also experienced some success selling her work online. Louisa has a range of different informal teaching experiences. She is friendly, patient, and skilled at teaching you the skills you need to make your best creations yet!
Gwen (Art for high schoolers to adult)
Gwen is an art whizz! She has studied art at a tertiary level, and currently hangs some work at the Redcliffe Gallery. Gwen has had a range of different teaching-related jobs and is adept at explanation and training. She is passionate, skilled, and friendly – a perfect teaching combination!
Anne (Art for primary schoolers)
Anne is a trained Art and English teacher. She has been teaching at Mueller College for the last ten years. She loves art, loves kids, and loves to combine the two loves by teaching art to kids!

Guitar and singing workshops
Ages: 8 years to adult
Price: $75 for the whole holidays (5 lessons - one per week except for Christmas - New Year week) or $18 per lesson

Our guitar and singing workshops are run as beginners’ courses. When you sign up, we ask you to commit to all of the lessons. We start at the very beginning – so if you’re pretty new to these things, these courses will be for you. We provide everything you need – including guitars to use in the lessons if you need them.
Art and Jewellery making workshops
- Ages:
- Art: 6 years to adult.
- Jewellery making: 8 years to adult. (Note: This is proper jewellery-making and involves quite intricate work, including bending wires with pliers. If you have a child younger than 8 years who would like to join in, you can both attend together so that they can have another adult there to assist them).
- Price: $20 per lesson
- Group sizes: 3 to 8 students.

Our art and jewellery-making sessions can be taken as one-off lessons or - if you’re keen to learn more - you can come along every week and keep learning something new! Our teachers teach you what you need as you go, and we supply all the fun stuff that you need in order to make your marvellous creations! Sessions are 2 hours long for those 8 and over and 1 and a half hours for under 8 year olds.
